~Purpose~

A universe divine & filled with so much,
Seen as splendor by some of us.
Do we alone, see it as such?
Looking up we search for purpose.

We feel, we think, we mold & create,
Each a few years until it's too late.
We live & breathe as our young through, us
Looking inward we search for purpose.

We yearn to flee amidst the stars,
To learn to be & know who we are.
Is the purpose to find there is none but us?
Looking near, we find it here, our purpose.

The Ones Who Walk Alone

In and out of feelings, Never knowing just how to feel
Most can't comprehend this, or even if it's real
Reality is a nitemare, for those who live in dreams
The constant struggle for change, but never changing, so it seems

The past lives in the present, for those who walk a road of stone
Shattered dreams and hardened Faces, For the ones who walk alone

Moving one step forward, then taking two steps back
seldom getting closer, end up losing track
forgotten are the smiles, remembered are the tears
lost to foggy memories, that prey upon the fears

Victims of the night, not knowing where to sleep
another endless fight, for some dignity to keep

The past lives in the present, for those who walk a road of stone
shattered dreams and hardened Faces,
