~Encounter~

Between us
white alabaster looms,
a fortress cracked
by the small mercy of exchanged breaths.

For seconds
(a river of jade moments)
I speak your name
as a sculptor might shape love;
cutting the edges to a precise beauty,
draping vowels
down your legs and ankles
to where my whisper dies.

Meet me by the mulberry,
and we will stain our lips with wine,
engaging subtle repartee
about everything, and nothing at all.

It happened so unexpectedly, so unplanned.
Two stars headed on a collision course
in this strange but beautiful universe.

They collide - and for one fleeting moment
in time, the two stars now formed into one.

Shining with such brilliance that the
universe around them will never be the same.

There is magic in this union.
A magic so powerful it transcends
time, space and reason.

This is not just some cosmic phenomenon
- these stars have shone brightly before,
but will shine even brighter now.....
because this is Destiny - This is true Love

Simple times, so far gone...Not sure what to believe
Simple minds, So far gone....so easy to Misconceive
Trying to break away, from the spell, as I look into your eyes
Always lifing a heart that fell, when will I realize
